With great pride, we announce that our products have been honored by the prestigious jury of the International Taste Institute, recognized as a symbol of excellence and unmatched quality in the Food & Beverage sector.

During a rigorous tasting process, over 200 judges analyzed a wide selection of products, awarding the esteemed prize only to the very best.

Among these were: Tiffany with ancient grains with wild blueberries, a delightful creation made with a mix of cereals and a luscious wild blueberry cream filling, which earned two stars and a score of 80.8. Vegan straight croissant with citrus and carrot, made without any animal-derived ingredients, which received one star and a score of 78.9. Sofia butter croissant, our reinterpretation of the traditional Tuscan “polacca,” featuring a shorter, straight, and flaky shape, awarded one star with a score of 74.3. These achievements are the result of the dedication and passion of our R&D team and all the professionals who, with care and commitment, work daily to select the finest raw materials, optimize production processes, and attentively respond to the needs of a constantly evolving market. During the 46th edition of SIGEP World 2025, Acquaviva received a prestigious accolade: the Gold Medal of Merit, presented by the Association of Ambassadors of Italian Pastry Excellence (APEI).

The 46th edition of SIGEP World 2025 has just concluded in Rimini, confirming its position as the international reference event dedicated to Foodservice.

SIGEP is much more than just an exhibition; it is the beating heart of innovation and creativity in the world of Food & Bakery.

This year, we participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing with passion and dedication what makes the Acquaviva brand truly unique.

Among the most appreciated novelties there is the new Linea Calise, featuring the Calise Dark and Passion references. These innovative plain croissants are prepared with a double dough of puff pastry and brioche, and are coloured with natural ingredients such as cocoa, beetroot and paprika. Further confirmation of our achievements come from the La Lune line, particularly the pistachio croissant, which continues to be one of our most appreciated and iconic products, both nationally and internationally.

Dolciaria Acquaviva: Books and Smiles for the Children of Santobono

Dolciaria Acquaviva enthusiastically joined the solidarity project “Natale al Santobono – Un libro per un sorriso “, promoted for the fourth consecutive year by the Artis Suavitas Aps Association, which is dedicated to the cultural, social, tourist, and recreational development of our country.

The goal of this social initiative is to raise funds through the GoFundMe platform to create a special, permanent library within the two facilities of the A.O.R.N. “Santobono – Pausilipon” in Naples.
This space, which will remain open beyond the holiday season, will allow children to select their favorite book, paying for it with a smile in a gesture of sharing and hope.

This edition benefits from the support of numerous Italian and international icons, including Maestro Giovanni Allevi, composer and pianist, Maestro Iginio Massari, the world-renowned Italian pastry chef, actress Pia Lanciotti, the iconic Donna Wanda from the TV series Mare Fuori, and Lampo and Milady, beloved characters from the children’s TV series 44 Cats.

We are proud to support this initiative, which aims to bring smiles to hospitalized children and their families, offering moments of joy, comfort, and courage, especially during the holiday season.

This year, once again we attended the APEI technical seminar, organized by the Association of Ambassadors of Italian Pastry Excellence in Brescia. The event, as always, represents an important opportunity for discussion on the new challenges of pastry-making and a chance to announce exciting new projects.

During the seminar, we impressed the committee of master pastry chefs by presenting our Pistachio Croissant “La Lune”made with 19.5 % of butter and natural yeast, finished with green sprinkles and filled with delicious pistachio cream. We are very proud that this recipe received the prestigious “APEI Approved Product” label.

La Lune Pistachio Croissant receives the Crystal Award

We are pleased to announce that for the third year in a row our La Lune Pistachio Croissant has been awarded by the renowned jury of the International Taste Institute, receiving the prestigious Crystal Award: a lifetime accolade.

Over 200 international taste experts, including chefs from the Michelin and Gault Millau Guides, praised our product for its fragrant flaky dough, made with 19.5% butter and natural yeast, and for its delicious pistachio filling.

These achievements are the result of our colleagues’ talent and dedication from the RD and the Production departments, whose hard work has once again contributed to earn a three stars, with an outstanding score of 91.1, securing us the coveted award.

We are happy that a global jury has recognized the excellence of our product: we select the finest raw ingredients, we create unique recipes with an unmatched flavor, ensuring the perfect balance between artisanal tradition and industrial dimension.

We are proud to share that our La Lune 24% butter straight croissant has received the special recognition as an “APEI approved product” from the association of Pastry Chef Ambassadors of Italian Excellence. The prestigious commission tasted and evaluated our product, which respects the required quality standards and presents parameters of excellence in the organoleptic and technical characteristics of the recipe.

Through La Lune line-up we have reassessed the classic croissant from the other side of the Alps with the Italian confectionery art perspective. We combined the fragrant golden flaking of butter with a delicate taste that has convinced even the best professionals and the most knowledgeable pastry chef of the dessert world.

International Taste Institute jury once again! Over 200 professionals – chefs e sommeliers recognized by institutions such as The MICHELIN Guide and Gault&Millau –have been selected to be the jury of the Superior Taste Award:an undeniable symbol of quality and excellence.


Through a rigorous method of tasting, the jury evaluated numerous products, conferring only to the best the renewed award. Our Vegan whole wheat Croissant with Citrus and Ginger achieved 2 stars, scoring 84.6. The jury appreciated the fluffiness and the interesting combination of flavors of this delicious cornetto. Our La Lune straight croissant with pistachio is confirmed, for the second year in a row, among the most loved products: it won 3 stars scoring 92.1.

We are glad to share this new milestone with all of you: a result that reward us for the great effort we put into selecting the raw materials, studying the recipes and handing down the principles of tradition, adapting them to our industrial dimension.
