Over 200 experts and professionals of taste, including chefs and sommeliers selected by the most prestigious culinary associations in Europe and recognized by major gourmet institutions – such as the Michelin guides or Gault & Millau – have tasted and evaluated over 1.800 products to bestow the renowned award.

The internationality, professionalism and talent of the Jury make this achievement even more prestigious, and we welcome it with great pride and the same desire to continue to grow and excel.

The operation will allow the Acquaviva Group to further differentiate the range of products and distribution channels, in line with the growth and diversification process started with the acquisition of Milanopane S.r.l. in 2019.

We are proud to share that our Cornetti “Caruso Vuoto” and “Caruso all’Albicocca del Vesuvio” obtained the prestigious worldwide recognition of the @International Taste Institute.

A selected group of experts, members of the most prestigious associations of Chefs & Sommeliers and notorious institutions such as the Michelin guides or Gault & Millau, tasted and evaluated our products, assigning the Superior Taste Award with 2 Stars to the Cornetto Caruso Vuoto (with a score of 85.9 points) and with 3 Stars to the Cornetto Caruso all’Albicocca del Vesuvio (with a score of 91.4 points)..

We are proud of this great achievement confirmed by the expertise of the international jury, made of the best Taste experts.

Acquisition of Milanopane srl

Dolciaria Acquaviva SpA expands its family with the acquisition of Milanopane srl: it strengthens the Company’s path of growth for the external lines.

Dolciaria Acquaviva SpA – leading Italian company in the production of frozen bakery products – has settled the acquisition of the Milanopane srl company, manufacturer of savoury snacks, pizzas, frozen semi-finished products for confectionery, bakery and for the ho.re.ca channel.

Through this operation, Dolciaria Acquaviva SpA aims to expand and strengthen its offer in a sector with high growth potential, thanks also to a strong investment plan, designed for the years ahead.

The acquisition of Milanopane srl is in line with the Acquaviva brand strategies: the aim is to expand the offer dedicated to professionals in the sector, integrating new products and developing synergies thanks to the skills of Milanopane historic brand.

Founded in 1987 as a bakery and artisan pastry shop, since 1992 Milanopane has been able to transform itself and grow in terms of size and production capacity, balancing modern industrial methods and search for innovation and quality within production.

These characteristics are truly in harmony with the policy of Acquaviva spa, which has built its continuous growth on the right mix of tradition and innovation.

By integrating Milanopane, Dolciaria Acquaviva SpA will implement its dimensional growth path, always aiming at quality and diversification of the products range offered to customers.

40 YEARS OF DOLCIARIA ACQUAVIVA

This year Dolciaria Acquaviva S.p.A. celebrates 40 years of activity. As part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary, the Acquaviva family was pleased to meet with collaborators, suppliers, agents and partners who have contributed to this important goal, at an unforgettable event which was held on June 8th, at the National Railway Museum in Pietrarsa.

An evocative journey through time – between tracks, locomotives and carriages that have gone through history – to celebrate another journey: the one undertaken 40 years ago by the Acquaviva family, which, from 1979 to the present, has transformed a small and prosperous family industry into a one of the market leaders.

The event was an opportunity to retrace the phases of this important growth that, after 40 years, has no intention of stopping, but continues under the auspices of innovation, sustainability, quality and safety, while maintaining the ancient values of tradition and passion for baked goods.
